40 Days for Life in Mira Mesa

Loading Events

We’re looking ahead to our Fall 2026 Campaign to help protect mothers and children right here in our neighborhood! You can help by joining this worldwide mobilization. Through prayer and fasting, peaceful vigils and community outreach, 40 Days for Life has inspired more than a million volunteers in coordinated campaigns in multiple countries. With God’s help, we have seen the following proven results:
> Over 26,000 babies saved from abortion
> Over 275 abortion workers converted
> Over 180 abortion centers closed

From September 23 through November 1, volunteers will gather for peaceful vigil, prayer, and our visible presence in support of women facing crisis pregnancies and their vulnerable unborn children.

Here’s how to take part:
Vigil location: On the public sidewalk outside Planned Parenthood-Mira Mesa (10717 Camino Ruiz, San Diego 92126). Meet on the sidewalk/grassy area near Carl’s Jr.

Vigil hours: Sign up to pray anytime 7am-7pm daily from September 23 through November 1

Click the “Sign Up for Vigil Hours” link (above) now to reserve your preferred time!

Between the official 40 Days for Life campaigns, volunteers will continue to meet and pray at the Mira Mesa location every Wednesday from 10-11 am. Please join us.

Our location:
Public right-of-way outside Planned Parenthood – Mira Mesa (10717 Camino Ruiz, San Diego, CA 92126).

We will pray on the public sidewalk along the east side of Camino Ruiz, north of Mira Mesa Blvd., near the Carl’s Jr.

Guidelines to follow at the site:
> Please don’t park in front of the retail stores in the mall.

> You’re free to use the sidewalk and the first five feet of grass on which to pray. (See the “Photo: Mira Mesa Property Line” link in the Resources section of this page.)

> As always, be sure not to block any pedestrians passing by, or traffic going into or out of the property.

> If you place your signs on the lawn, keep them within the first five feet of the grass. Be sure not to do any damage to the turf and remove the signs when you leave.

> Don’t engage with anyone who objects to our prayer vigil on the sidewalk, but pray for them, just as we pray for the mothers, their unborn children, and the abortion workers.

Thank you! May God bless you!
