The ‘Prayer for Deliverance from Evil’ by Saint John Paul II

Saint John Paul II had a long-standing devotion to Our Lady of Fatima.

In 1984, he consecrated the whole world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Our Lady of Fatima requested this and Sister Lucia confirmed that John Paul II fulfilled the request.

The prayer below is a key part of the consecration he made from Saint Peter’s Square on March 25, 1984, the feast of the Annunciation.

The USCCB website lists this prayer as a “Prayer for Deliverance from Evil.”
