Saint Joseph is the ideal role model for all Catholics.
His life reflects many of the qualities we need to achieve holiness. Spanish priest Father Jesús Silva presents 10 of these qualities that we can imitate to grow in faith.

1) Saint Joseph is a man of faith.
He did not need to understand everything to obey God. He trusted Him and acted promptly. How often does doubt paralyze us? Learn from Joseph: trust, take the step, and let God do the rest.
2) Saint Joseph is a just man.
He did not live according to his own will, but according to God’s. His justice was not cold or legalistic but full of mercy. Do you treat others with justice and charity? Ask for his intercession to be righteous in your life.
3) Saint Joseph is a hard-working man.
He didn’t expect miracles but worked hard every day in his workshop to support his family. How do you live your work? Imitate Saint Joseph: work with love, offering every effort to God, no matter how small it may seem.
