SAN DIEGO— As a spiritual preparation for the San Diego Walk for Life, the Catholic community will offer a Multicultural Novena for Life, Jan. 10 to 18, at parishes across the diocese. The novena is to pray for the legal protection of the unborn and their mothers, and ends at the walk itself.

The faithful have two ways to participate, in person or via the Zoom platform. The schedule is as follows:

Friday, Jan. 10 , 7:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, 135 Fourth St., Calexico. The novena will be bilingual (English and Spanish).

Saturday, Jan. 11, 8:30 a.m., at St. Mary Parish, 1170 Broadway, Escondido.

Sunday, Jan. 12,  9 a.m., at Mission San Luis Rey Parish, 4070 Mission Ave., Oceanside. Youth are invited, and the novena will be bilingual.

Monday, Jan.  13, 9 a.m., at Good Shepherd Parish,  8200 Gold Coast Drive, San Diego. Novena will be in multiple languages.

Tuesday, Jan. 14, 8 a.m., at St, Pius X Parish, 1120 Cuyamaca Ave., Chula Vista.

Wednesday, Jan. 15, 9 a.m., at St. Didacus Parish, 4772 Felton St., San Diego.

Thursday, Jan. 16, 6:30 p.m., at St. Martin of Tours Parish, 7710 El Cajon Blvd., La Mesa.
