Could there be a biblical basis for cryptocurrency?
In an interview with ChurchPOP editor Jacqueline Burkepile, Christian married couple Brian and Kelly Estes, co-executive lead producers of the new film, “God Bless Bitcoin,” unveil the biblical reasoning behind cryptocurrency, especially amid high levels of inflation.
According to the film’s description,
“God Bless Bitcoin” takes a deep dive into the moral and ethical aspects of Bitcoin and the impact that this money can have on the world.”
The creators break the film into sections:
“First, we wanted to explain how the world’s financial system works, to show how it wages inflation and discriminates against the middle class and those who live in poverty.””Second, we wanted to show how Bitcoin is a more ethical form of money that is open to everyone no matter their socioeconomic status, their race, their gender.” The Biblical Basis for Cryptocurrency
Kelly Estes told Burkepile she penned the title, “God Bless Bitcoin,” as a prayer.
