Join us for our annual fundraiser, A Legacy of Love, Celebrating 40 years at St. Michael’s in Poway on May 1, 2025 from 6:30-9pm. The evening will include renowned guest speaker Abby Johnson, as well as delicious charcuterie, scrumptious desserts and refreshing wine and non-alcoholic beverages. Business casual attire.
At Life Choices, we realize that a woman considering abortion has multiple and complex needs that cannot be solved through short-term help. Not only are babies’ lives saved within our walls, but each mother’s life is transformed by receiving love, encouragement, education and support as she raises her precious child into adulthood.
Your financial gift this evening will assure that no woman who chooses life for her child is abandoned in her parenting journey.
Welcoming Renowned Guest Speaker Abby Johnson
Abby has committed her life to helping women in need. This devotion is what led her to work for Planned Parenthood for eight years. Yet throughout her tenure Abby became increasingly disturbed by what she witnessed, with her complete change of heart occurring after she was asked to assist in an ultrasound-guided abortion of a 13-week-old baby. It became clear in that moment that abortion did not provide the freedom she had promised to so many women in those counseling rooms; instead, it provided harm, destruction and devastation. With this realization Abby swore that henceforth she would devote her time and efforts advocating for life in the womb.
Today, Abby travels across the globe sharing her story, educating the public on pro-life issues, advocating for the unborn, and, through her ministry And Then There Were None, assisting hundreds of abortion clinic staff out of the industry. In addition, she founded ProLove Ministries, and hosts her own podcast titled “Politely Rude.” She is the author of the national best-selling book Unplanned, which chronicles her experiences with Planned Parenthood and her dramatic exit, as well as other books including The Walls Are Still Talking and Fierce Mercy. Abby lives in Texas with her husband and eight children.
