Learn to Make a Filipino Parol (Christmas Lantern) at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (OLMC) in San Diego!

Families and Ministries are invited to participate in this fellowship opportunity to learn how to make a parol – a traditional Filipino Christmas lantern, that symbolizes hope, joy, and the triumph of light over darkness. Basic supplies will be provided with registration. Light refreshments will be available.
On the last day of Simbang Gabi (nine day novena leading up to Christmas), Monday, Dec. 23, participants are invited to showcase their parols in a Parol Procession prior to OLMC Mass at 5:30pm. This is a beautiful celebration that lights the way to the birth of our Savior.
