Good Friday Walk with the Suffering in San Diego

Please join us at the San Diego Rescue Mission, 120 Elm St. at the corner of Second and Elm in downtown San Diego, for a two- and one-half hour walk commemorating Jesus’ journey to Calvary and His solidarity with the suffering today.

Highlights of the event:

  • Procession around Downtown San Diego

  • Students from Cristo Rey San Diego High School will act out the stations

  • Prayers in front of nine organizations that serve the needy

  • Reflections on social justice issues such as poverty, immigration, and human trafficking by Aux. Bishop Felipe Pulido and other leaders

  • Free parking available at the Rescue Mission

Who is invited?
Anyone who wants to accompany Jesus to Calvary and to pray for victims of social justice issues in San Diego.
