All are welcome to join us celebrating the Feast of San Nazareno on Monday, Jan. 9 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in San Diego. There will be a rosary procession at 9:30am followed by Mass at 10am, and a reception afterwards.
The Feast of the Black Nazarene (Filipino: Pista ng Itím na Nazareno), also known as the Traslación after the procession associated with the feast, is a festival held in Manila, Philippines, that is centered around the Black Nazarene wooden carving of Jesus carrying the cross. It is celebrated annually on Jan. 9.
