Coping with Life Alone in the Beginning is a unique one-day retreat experience for those grieving the loss of a spouse through death, divorce or separation. It is a day filled with listening and sharing, spiritual companionship, and reflection. Guided by the Holy Spirit and accompanied by peer facilitators, this retreat helps promote self-awareness during one’s own healing journey.
Coping with Life Alone in the Beginning is part of the Beginning Experience ministry. Through faith in God, this program encourages its participants to shift the pain and loss into the possibility of positive growth. Founded by a Catholic nun and rooted in Christian tradition, this inclusive ministry is open to serving all faiths.
