How did God make us “in the beginning”? How does sin change things? And what does all of this have to do with relationships, sexuality, and life in general? These are the kinds of questions that Pope St. John Paul II’s “Theology of the Body” asks and answers. Angela Franks, Ph.D., and mother of six, serves as Professor of Theology at St. John’s Seminary in Boston. Her talk will answer questions about the Theology of the Body, and also clear up misconceptions about a term that is tossed about more frequently than it is understood. More than that, she will bring us to an integrated understanding of the reality of our own bodies and their role in God’s salvific plan.
