Prayer Vigil Location: The public right-of-way (the sidewalk) outside of Planned Parenthood on W. Mission Ave. in Escondido, CA.
Parking. Please don’t park in the shopping center where Planned Parenthood is located. Please park across the street behind Arby’s or along the fence line next to Grace Church located at 725 N. Escondido Blvd, Escondido CA 92025.
Prayer Sign-up. Please sign up for vigil hours on this website. Leaders will be checking the website frequently in case we need to notify you about prayer needs or cautions.
Stay on Sidewalk and not on PP property or street. It is very important to abide by the law and stay on the sidewalk. We are to keep the public right of way (the sidewalk) open for people to pass by freely. Do not stand on Planned Parenthood property or any other private property.
Peaceful Prayer Vigil. Please sign the Statement of Peace. We ask that prayers use positive and peaceful, supportive signage and language. Please do not bring bloody signs or provocative signs. We are there to reach out gently not provoke hard hearts. We won’t engage those who object to our prayer vigil on the sidewalk, but will pray for them, just as we pray for the mothers, their unborn children, and the abortion workers.
Armor up. Pray up. Get ready BEFORE going there. A soldier doesn’t go on the battle field without his weapon and armor and Christians shouldn’t go into spiritual warfare without putting on the WHOLE Armor of God.
Familiarize yourself with Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRCs). Be prepared to provide resources to anyone in need. Know where to send someone for a free ultrasound and/or abortion pill reversal process. For more information, see our PRC reference guide.
