El Centro, CA- The Knights of Columbus, Cristo Rey Council, will be conducting an emergency food distribution on Monday, April 27th, 2020 to those Imperial Valley residents impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic and registered through Catholic Charities.
Catholic Charities and the Imperial Valley Food Bank, part of the valley wide Emergency Food Distribution Network, will be donating and distributing through the local Knights Council groceries like frozen beef, chicken, dairy, fresh produce and canned goods. Over 200 plus families are expected on Monday, April 27, 2020 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in El Centro, CA and volunteers are needed.
Volunteers are needed to donate their time for one 2-hour shift from 8:00 to 11:30 AM or from 11:30-3 PM to pack and distribute grocery bags. Drivers also needed.
